Are you looking for a change but not sure where to start? I was too! Leading up to the end of 2016, we kept hearing about this gig called Whole 30 all over the place but didn’t know what the heck it was or what all the hype was about. Well, one year ago my husband and I committed to doing the Whole 30 and it may have been one of the best decisions for our health ever and I seriously think everyone needs to do it! It isn’t just some weird fad or some magic pills to take —… Read More
I can’t believe my second child is one month old! Last night we were sitting at the dinner table and Justin looks at me and says, “Can you believe they’re ours? What more do we have to do to be considered an adult?” Sometimes I feel like I’m still just playing house and one day soon I’ll wake up and this life I’m living will all just be a dream. Whether it’s for a birthday party, anniversary present, or whatever special holiday it is, I always… Read More

I’ve been staring at this blank screen for almost an hour trying to figure out how to start and there are just no words for the crazy ride we went on the weeks leading up to meeting our sweet little Maggie Grace. And I’m warning you now, this post is going to be a beast, lots of TMI, and very photo heavy towards the end but I just never want to forget anything, so here we go…. It all started at an appointment when I was around 34 weeks pregnant. My midwife made a small… Read More
Finding the perfect dresser can be so tough. Add on top of it a serious timeline we had to stick to and that made the whole thought even more daunting. As I started planning Clara’s toddler chic bedroom makeover mid-September for this season’s One Room Challenge, I dreamt of finding a dresser that would be the perfect size to tuck into the odd-shaped walls in our then guest room but also have enough character that it wouldn’t be lame. Here’s my dresser wishlist: Drawers that are easy to open and close for a toddler Had character, or at least potential… Read More
