Create this simple pictures wall hanging using just a few items to show off some of your favorite photos.
I don’t know about you, but I have 1000s of photos stored on my hard drive and very few photos actually displayed up in our home. I’m on a mission to change that.
For our one year anniversary, my husband and I rented a suit that matched the one he wore for our wedding, I pulled my wedding dress out of its neatly preserved box, and splashed around in the cold Oregon ocean with a photographer following us. These pictures turned out amazing and I cherish them so much!! This simple picture hanging turned out so cute and I love seeing it up on our wall now.

Materials to make your wall hanging pictures:
- Paint stick
- Drill
- Matte black spray paint
- Photos
- Leather Lace
- Hot glue
- Command strip
1. Cut Paint Stick
First, cut your paint stick down to 5.5″.
2. Drill Hole
Drill a single hole in the middle of the paint stick.
3. Sand & Paint
Smooth all the edges of the paint stick and then clean it up with a dry cloth.
4. Paint
Once it’s clean paint your stick with the matte black spray paint.
5. Photos
Next, cut out your photos. I just printed 4×4 photos with a 1/2″ white border on my home printer. 
6. Glue
Now, lay your photos upside down an inch apart from each other and hot glue your string to them. Make sure and leave enough string on the top to tie a knot once thread through the hole in the paint stick. 
Tie it on to the wood and you’re done! We have so many fun pictures that I still need to wade through, but this is definitely a step in the right direction.
