32 Weeks

32 weeks pregnant

How far along? 32 weeks! Baby girl is about 16.5 inches and weighs a whopping 3.5 pounds.

Maternity clothes: Pretty much all I wear these days are maternity clothes besides sweatpants in the evening.

Sleep: Going great. Some nights I can even sleep through without having to go to the bathroom at all.

Food cravings: None. I think I’m one of those not so lucky people that doesn’t have the excitement of fun food cravings.

Nausea: None

Symptoms: I hate this question each week. Duh there’s symptoms. I have a baby growing inside of me. Let’s see….over the last two weeks I’ve noticed some stretch marks appearing. Had 6 straight days of swollen feet but I finally got the swelling down over this past weekend.

Total weight gain: 26 pounds. At my appointment yesterday my midwife was actually very encouraging about my weight gain and said I am doing great! Makes me feel a little bit better about myself.

Movement: Oh gosh yes! I had my roughest day being pregnant a few days ago. Baby girl is nice and settled right under my right ribs and that first day as she settled in was rough! But now it’s fun to feel her movin’ and a-grooving in there all happy and content.

Gender: Hopefully still a girl because this little one is getting a purple nursery whether she likes it or not!

Labor Signs: None that I know of.

32 weeks pregnantBelly button in or out? In but I feel like it could pop out any day now.

Wedding ring on or off? On. Still no swelling in my hands.

Happy or moody? Happy

Best moment this week: Super encouraging doctor’s appointment yesterday! After a “fun” week last week and researching cholestasis of pregnancy, my midwives had a nice little pow-wow, as they put it, and are confident that we caught it early and are doing everything we can. They were so confident they didn’t even think it was necessary to do a blood draw for another few weeks. So for now, I continue to take a liver stimulant, castor oil, and drink some dandelion tea to help get my liver and gallbladder working harder.

Looking forward to: My first baby shower next week! Plus, my best friend is flying up from LA for the shower and the weekend so that’ll be fun. She hasn’t seen me and my prego belly since about week 8.
