Birthdays. Anniversaries. Holidays. Friendsgiving. End of Summer BBQ Bash. Do you ever feel overwhelmed with all the party ideas and don’t know where to start?
Me too! I’ve been there! I know how you feel!
A teddy bear picnic for my toddler and all her baby friends.
A brunch tea party for my mom friends who need a well-deserved break.
Hire a babysitter and have an adults-only murder mystery game night with all our closest friends.
The list could go on and on…
Although I love party planning there always seemed to be something holding me back and maybe you’re the same way! What held me back from planning them? Time. Money. Feeling overwhelmed. Lack of organization.
Here’s three simple things I’ve learned that have helped me become a party planning pro:
#1 Set the date
Set the date and stick with it. Send out the invitations so you can’t keep changing the date or making excuses. It’s totally worth it! Get it on everyone’s calendar.
#2 Start planning early
As we know, decorations, food, entertainment…it all takes time. Start planning in your free time rather than pushing it off until the last minute and it won’t seem so overwhelming.
#3 Get organized
Create party planning checklists you can use over and over again, If you haven’t yet, you can grab my free party planning checklist right here to start getting yourself organized!
Party planning doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Let’s make it fun again!!
I’ve put together all that I know into one guide just for you! The Ultimate DIY Party Planning Tool is the ultimate party resource to get yourself one step closer to becoming a party planning pro.
