Crafters are some of the toughest people to buy for. They aren’t into fancy gadgets, because they’d rather just DIY it. As I thought about my favorite things sitting in my craft room right now or things that are high on my wishlist this year I thought I’d throw together a quick gift guide for those of you struggling to figure out what to get the crafter in your life.

1 | Color At Home: A Young House Love Coloring Book
This is my favorite coloring book. John and Sherry from Young House Love are amazing (their podcast is awesome too!) and they created this coloring book that helps you figure out how to mix colors. So fun!
2 | Sharpie Retractable Permanent Markers
Everyone needs more colorful permanent markers in their life.
3 | Craft Swivel X-Acto
X-acto knifes are so helpful to have around and I love that this one has a cap and swivels. This would be a great stocking stuffer idea too!
4 | Sewing Clips
If you (or someone you know) sews and doesn’t have wonder clips, you MUST buy these. Game changer when it comes to sewing! I used them to make this puff quilt and every time I make a tag blanket.
5 | Liquid Chalk Markers
Liquid chalk markers are so great to have for quickly decorating for parties and making signs.
6 | Scrapbooking Paper
There is ALWAYS a need for more colorful scrapbook paper. #amiright?
7 | Woodburner Pen
Ok, not technically a colorful tool, but this woodburning pen is the one I have and so awesome to have! You can make so many fun things with it.
8 | Baker’s Twine
Colorful baker’s twine is SO helpful to have in stock to tie packages, decorate, or add a little pop of color to practically anything.
9 | Prismacolor Colored Pencils
These colored pencils would be great to go along with the Color at Home coloring book linked above.
10 | Silhouette Sketch Pens
If you know someone who has a Silhouette machine and they don’t have sketch pens, please do them a favor and buy them this set. They are SO FUN and you can do so many things with them. Printables, invitations, tags…
11 | Washi Tape
I don’t know any crafter that doesn’t have a washi tape obsession. Plus, everyone always needs more colorful washi tape.
12 | Scissors
I don’t know about you, but I’m always misplacing my scissors. So handy to have multiple pairs around.
13 | Glue Gun
A glue gun is like the crafter’s duct tape. Anything can be fixed with a little hot glue.
14 | Paint Brush Set
You can never have too many paint brushes in different sizes! I like having some for paint and a few set aside for staining in corners.
