My favorite thing to do when I’m bored is to create mood boards. I love finding the perfect accessories to fit a room and dream about what could be. So, naturally, of course, I’m super pumped about today’s post. In case you missed it, last week I filled you in on our latest room makeover, the powder room. Check out the ugly before pictures here.

Justin and I have been talking about what to do in the small powder room in our home and are planning to go dark and bold for a modern industrial moody feel.

Here’s the mood board I put together to give you an idea of the direction we’re headed over the next few weeks as part of One Room Challenge.

Over the last 6 months I’ve quit all of my part-time jobs, the last one being last week. It’s going to be quite the change once I’m done at the end of this month, but I think it will be totally worth it in the long run. I need to spend more time with my babies (that aren’t so much babies anymore), spend more time on walks to the park, and putting myself first. All that to say, our budget is TIGHT for this room, but I’m excited to see what we can do with it on a small budget.

So now that you have an idea of what this boring powder room is going to look like, let me show you the list of things we have to do.

• Maybe paint lower cabinet?
